Yes! Finally, the Hi-Nu Gundam gets HGUC treatment. I've always liked the color scheme and design of the Hi-Nu, but I've never been able to afford the master grade. I think this HGUC will be a good alternative to it. Like the Nu Gundam, this one will probably be a lot bigger than other 1/144 models (similar height to 1/100). Details look excellent from the look of the photos, and like the HGUC Nu Gundam, it has better, sleeker proportioning than its master grade counterpart. Definitely a must-buy for me and any self-respecting gunpla modeler.
Do you think the HGUC version will be as tall as the 1/100?
ReplyDeleteIf you're talking about the master grade, then definitely not. This is 1/144 scale, and the mg is 1/100 scale, so its going to be a few centimeters shorter and smaller.
ReplyDeleteMy bad, what I meant was would it be as tall as the other 1/100 scale gundams? I will get one if it does and have it join with the rest of my 1/100 armada. I agree the MG is expensive.
ReplyDeleteAlmost. If its the same size as the HGUC Nu Gundam, then it will probably be almost as tall (just about 1 cm shorter) as most 1/100 models.
